*EVERYONE HOLD UP, WE GOT A NEW SERIES HERE*
See, like Sir Elton John, I like nice things, so, in a move that almost proves I have a weak ego, almost, I’m introducing Pretty Things, the new series where I show off some of my cool stuff to my captive audience, you guys, while also busting out my famous photography chops. Note, this won’t be a review of the film itself, but more a look at the packaging around it.
Today, I’m gonna be looking at a very nice thing, a 3-Disc Special Edition DVD of Christopher Nolan’s classic thriller Memento. That’s right guys, Blu-Ray’s for fools, DVD CLASSIC FOREVERRRR!
This special edition of Memento, a quality film anyway, comes with 3 discs (if I haven’t said that enough already), each with a shitload of special features and other bizniz. This includes a special hidden feature; an edit of the film in chronological order. This is particularly exciting as, if you’ve seen the film you’d know, it is written and shot in reverse chronological order. Another lil fun tidbit about the feature is that you can only access it after solving a puzzle on the disc 2 menu screen, something that adds coolness to it in spades.
I’m also a big fan of the package it came in. While nothing completely special, the inverted colours and embossed logo on the outer box is really cool, as is the alternative artwork on the inner box. Now here are some picturessssssss:
Overall, I’m really fond of this set here, a great film with great features in a great package, and the fact that I scored it for £1 at CeX made me an even happier bunny. If you wanna get your greasy mitts on this beaut, I’ll add the Amazon link below. I would tell you that if you use the link to buy stuff, Stuff And That would get kickback from it, but we don’t, cus we suck. Oh wellllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll
