Incredibly fun, original and addictive.

Soulcalibur II (Gamecube, 2002)

The best 1-on-1 fighting game ever made.

Super Smash Bros. for Wii U (2014)

The best fighting game in general.

Sonic Colours (Wii, 2010)

The best Sonic game and one of the best platformers around.

Super Mario 3D Land (3DS, 2011)

On par with the last one.

LEGO Star Wars: the Complete Saga (Wii, 2007)

The best LEGO game by miles.

Gotcha Force (Gamecube, 2003)

A mental game and an absolute classic, probably the game I’ve played the most.

Ratchet & Clank: A Crack In Time (PS3, 2009)

A masterpiece in 3D platforming and the perfect end of the Future trilogy; the second best game ever.

Rayman Origins (PS3, 2011)

The best flippin’ game ever. The most fun I’ve ever had playing a game.

Rayman Legends (PS3, 2013)

This is gert amazing too.

Beijing 2008 (PS3)

Incredibly flawed but incredibly fun multiplayer.

Halo 3 (Xbox 360, 2007)

Another game just here for its multiplayer — and not online, you pleb!

Mini Ninjas (PS3, 2009)

One of the best platformers of the last generation.

Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (Mega Drive/Genesis, 1992)

Better than any of the original Mario games.

Sonic & Knuckles (Mega Drive/Genesis, 1994)

Genesis does what Nintendon’t.

Mario Kart 7 (3DS, 2012)

Nintendo’s still great though.

Jam With the Band (DS, 2008)

Bet you didn’t see this coming! It’s a brilliant rhythm game and a great one to play multiplayer to boot.

Pokémon White (DS, 2010)

Well designed Pokémon game with a stylish world and a plethora of great new Pokémon (although that wikiHow thing in the corner makes me want to die).

Pokémon Pearl (DS, 2006)

Another great Pokémon game and one that makes me a liiiiiittle nostalgic.

Pokémon SoulSilver (DS, 2009)

The best Pokémon game and the best RPG in general.

Super Monkey Ball (Gamecube, 2002)

Very fun, challenging and unique.

Transformers: Fall of Cybertron (PS3, 2012)

Fantastic third-person shooter single player and multiplayer, surprisingly one of the highlights of the last few years.

World Cup 98 (N64, 1998)

The best football game for so many reasons.

Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3 (Wii, 2007)

The best anime game for so many reasons.

Nintendo Pocket Football Club (3DS, 2014)

A masterpiece in simplicity – and incredible addictive too.

Battalion Wars (Gamecube, 2005)

Very fun and stylish strategy game.

Simpsons Hit & Run (Gamecube, 2003)

Classic awesomeness.

Tony Hawks Pro Skater 4 (Gamecube, 2002)

Incredibly addictive, quality game. By far the best skating game ever.

Absolute classic and one of my favourite games of the 6th generation.

Brilliantly entertaining platformer and one of the best Sonics.
